Dr. Azevedo is a professor at the Emergency Medicine Department at the University of São Paulo and the coordinator of the Intensive Care and Anesthesiology Experimental Laboratory at the Instituto Sirio-Libanes de Ensino e Pesquisa in São Paulo.
