Karen Fagan, MD, is a pulmonologist in Mobile, Alabama, and is affiliated with University of South Alabama Children's and Women's Hospital. She received her medical degree from University of California, San Diego School of Medicine.
She has more than 14 years’ experience in the diagnosis and management of pulmonary hypertension. She is an internationally recognized leader in the pulmonary hypertension field as both a clinician and scientist. Dr. Fagan is on the Scientific Leadership Council of the Pulmonary Hypertension Association and a leader in the Pulmonary Circulation Assembly at the American Thoracic Society. She has written more than 40 scientific and clinical articles and book chapters and is frequently invited to speak on pulmonary hypertension.
