The PC Mentoring Program is now hybrid, participants can connect virtually or at the ATS International Conference.
Goals
- To Support junior faculty and trainees through individual mentorship by established colleagues in the ATS community
- To provide opportunities for participation in PC assembly activities for early career professionals
- To help early-career professionals and trainees navigate the ATS international conference and take full advantage of the resources available
Expectations for Mentors
- Upon matching with one or more mentees, we recommend a short introduction either by phone, email, or social networking prior to the ATS International Conference.
- Arrange a meeting virtually or in-person during the ATS International Conference.
- Attend the PC Assembly Membership Meeting and Mentoring Reception, if attending the ATS International Conference.
Expectations for Mentees
- Upon matching with your mentor, we recommend a short introduction either by phone, email, or social networking prior to the ATS International Conference
- Identify shared goals with your mentor regarding a virtual or face-to-face meeting at the ATS International Conference.
- Identify key areas in which you feel mentorship will help your career goals and personal development
- Attend the PC Assembly Membership Meeting and Mentoring Reception, if attending the ATS International Conference.
