The Section on Terrorism and Inhalation Disasters welcomes two expert speakers from the CDC National Center for Environmental Health. This webinar will review types of radiation emergencies, such as nuclear emergencies and dirty bombs, including exposure sources and health concerns. Participants will describe differences in radiation exposure vs. contamination and key concepts in decontamination, public health and medical management. There will be opportunities to interact with other participants and to ask questions of the speakers.
Our next webinar is scheduled for December 1st at 2pm EST and is titled Radiation Disaster Preparedness and Management of Exposure & Contamination.
