As part of “Addressing Challenging Infection” Week at the ATS, and in conjunction with ATS Public Advisory Roundtable (PAR) partner The Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation and Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute, the ATS presented a live roundtable discussion webinar on Tuesday, February 20th at 3 PM - 4 PM. The discussants are Lucas Hoffman, MD, PhD, from the University of Washington School of Medicine/Seattle Children's Hospital, and Margaret Leigh, MD, a leading researcher, and specialist in PCD and an expert in the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of PCD in children and are a founding member of the NIH sponsored Genetic Disorders of Mucociliary Clearance Consortium.
Other discussants are Michele Manion, The Past President of the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Foundation and past chair of ATS PAR and Siri Vaeth, MSW Executive Director of Cystic Fibrosis Research Institute, and many more. The discussion was focused on challenges in infection and prevention in the lung disease space.
